April 4, 2010Finally, back from a long trip! Paris, Geneva, Bern, Zermatt and many other cities have surrendered to us without a fight. It was an awesome trip, but it feels so great to be home! I’ll start with Paris. This city is going back to my travel list. Next time we’ll spend at least a week there.

October 10, 2009The Washington Monument is the most famous structure and attraction in Washington, D.C. It was built to commemorate the first U.S. president George Washington. It is 555’ 5 1/8” tall, and was the tallest construction in the world until the Eiffel Tower was completed in Paris, France in 1889.

September 24, 2009America is very lucky to have its land. Beautiful mountains, valleys, forests, oceans, lakes and canyons – you can find anything you want here. The territory includes most climate types – from polar and subarctic in Alaska to tropical in Florida and Hawaii. I found this map in a gift shop of Smithsonian American Art Museum. It makes me want to travel again…
