What a great finale of a day! Walking with Vince in Central Park brings sometimes pleasant surprises. This time it was a free outdoor concert of classical music. A big Thank You for such a wonderful gift for New Yorkers goes to a founder and philanthropist Elkan Naumburg, who donated the Naumburg Bandshell to New York City in 1923, and all those donors and contributors who support it today. Thank you, it was amazing!

I was wondering how kids trick-or-treat in New York City. Do they walk from building to building and knock on every apartment’s door? Can’t be… Well, they don’t. Instead, they trick-or-treat all restaurants, salons and shops in the area. That’s much more fun!
halloween_upper_west_sideMost of the sidewalk traffic on Columbus Avenue was moving towards W 69th Street.
halloween_on_69th_streetThe W 69th street association did a great job organizing everything. The official party was scheduled to start @5pm, but around 3 pm the street was already packed.

Meet the luckiest (and unbelievably gorgeous!) woman from Seattle, WA. Her husband, Mark, did an amazing job throwing a surprise party on her birthday. Who would expect to walk into a restaurant in New York City 3,000 miles away from home and see the closest friends and family – surprise! :)
