This was my first event ever when I worked as a professional wedding photographer. I had my good old Canon 20D (my backup now), a few lenses, and a good friend who agreed to assist me. It was a great wedding, very relaxed, and touching. The best part of the experience is that Hugo and Christine are my friends now!

Intrepid

July 21, 2009

Last weekend we tried to attend a free event at the The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum – some kind of drive-trough movie, but New York style, on the deck of the Intrepid Aircraft! But we failed. Too many people had the same idea, and the line to get in was probably a half mile long, so we did not even try :)

Intrepid is a real aircraft carrier, that went through WWII. Wiki has an image showing Japanese plane attacking Intrepid.

My favorite shot from yesterday.

Yesterday I went to the public library to pick up my membership card. It is free to use and has a quite impressive collection of books – over 50 million items.

According to this article we don’t control cats – they control us! They take advantage of our natural instincts by producing sounds similar to baby cries, which usually hard to ignore. Cats are so awesome :)
